| The Bemazed exhibit tells the story of a bee that travels to a flower located on one of the three different areas represented on the interactive tabletop: city, arroyo or desert. When kids tilt the table, a ball representing the bee rolls through. Animated video displays in the tables’s center let visitors follow the bee’s adventures, as it overcomes various obstacles to get to the flower and its pollen. The ball can land in any of 30 different “story traps” including a mineshaft, a tunnel, a funnel web spider trap and a canal. Mad Systems designed and built the entire exhibit including the video animation and its controls. |
